Hand Hygiene is the first step in preventing the spread of many diseases & infection. The purpose of this event was to enage the public in understanding the importance of hand hygiene in both the home and in healthcare environments. Additionally, it was to showcase some of the research and innovative practice occuring in the University and NHS Tayside. This was a collaborative event between the University of Dundee, School of Nursing and Midwifery, NHS Tayside and members of the NHS Tayside patient and public group.
