Cameron Ross

Cameron Ross Reader in Politics

Biography

Cameron Ross is a specialist in Russian politics. He holds a BA (Hon) in Politics from the University of Keele, an MA in Soviet Politics from the University of Essex and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He has taught politics at the University of Cambridge, the College of William and Mary (Virginia, USA), and OberlinCollege (Ohio, USA). His most recent books are: Local Politics and Democratization in Russia (Routledge, 2009), Federalism and Local Politics in Russia (Routledge, 2009) which is an edited volume with Adrian Campbell; The Politics of Sub-National Authoritarianism in Russia, an edited volume with Vladimir Gel’man (Ashgate 2010), and Russian Regional Politics under Putin and Medvedev (Routledge, 2011). I teach undergraduate modules on Comparative Politics, Soviet and Russian politics and postgraduate modules on Russian Foreign Policy.
