Abstract

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Expression of inducible NOS (iNOS) is important in certain inflammatory diseases. We determined if the hormone aldosterone, a mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) agonist, affects LPS activation of iNOS expression in rat aortic smooth muscle cells (RASMC).
