Important note: the University repository is for research work - only Doctoral and Masters by Research theses are accepted.

Have the final, corrected version of your research thesis in PDF format ready to upload

Have the following required information to hand to enter in the submission form:

• the qualification name, e.g. Doctor of Philosophy
• the thesis title (and subtitle if there is one)
• the thesis abstract
• the name of your University of Dundee supervisor/s
• the year your thesis was awarded (this is the date that you handed in your thesis for your oral viva examination)

Read or view the step-by-step instructions for logging in and submitting your thesis then login when you are ready to submit.

Your submission will go through the review process, where Library staff will check all its details. You will receive an email to your standard University email address (i.e. ending in @dundee.ac.uk) if there is a problem with your submission.

When your submission has been approved, you will receive an email confirming that your electronic thesis has been added to Discovery and providing you with a persistent URL which you can use to refer to it.

IMPORTANT: University regulations require you to submit your thesis to Discovery before submitting the printed copies. Please print a copy of the email confirmation you receive and include it with the print copy of your thesis that you hand in to the Research Degrees Office in Airlie Place on the City Campus.
