Description

This half-day event brought together stakeholders from the NHS, Third Sector, Scottish Government and University to launch the co-created Toolkit to support implementation and evaluation of evidence-based breastfeeding support in the NHS. The Action 4 Breastfeeding (A4B) Toolkit is the culmination of the A4B study and has been co-created with stakeholder input from across the UK.
The A4B Toolkit details the key evidence-based components for effective breastfeeding support: the A4B programme. During this event we heard presentations on the key elements of the Toolkit and A4B Programme, including from the NHS Tayside Infant Feeding Team who have implemented the A4B programme in practice. The event opened with key speakers from UNICEF and the Scottish Government.
