This event provided professional development opportunity for PhD researchers in the field of Art & Humanities through engaging in discussions about the advantages and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) within the Creative Industries.It brought together industry professionals with academic researchers to share knowledge, experience and think together about AI and the digital transformation it is bringing to creative practice, research and the sector itself. Invited key speakers will included Professor Andy Miah, Chair of Science Communication & Future Media at the University of Salford; Nicola Osborne, Programme Manager at Creative Informatics, University of Edinburgh; Dr Jay Bradley is a Research Fellow within the School of Innovation and Technology at Glasgow School of Art. The event also included two panel conversations (details of panellists to be confirmed) focusing on AI’s emerging role in the creative industries and AI within creative sector research led by Hub Leads.
