A Contemporary Art and Art Historical perspective of violence against women, presented by In-GEAR at DJCAD, University of Dundee.On 25th November, In-GEAR at DJCAD are hosting a conference (Art/History + Violence Against Women) in support of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to include 14 student speakers from across DJCAD, and keynote speakers from Sothebys London (Dr Catherine McCormack) and painter Prof Sue Williams from University of Wales. Margaret Harrison will also be contributing to this event in respect of her ‘Rape’ artwork (held by the Tate). The event will be streamed live from 2pm.
