    Description

    Mary Shelley's Dundee: Re-animating a City

As part of the Being Human Festival of the Humanities, we will consider how Dundee inspired the teenage author of Frankenstein (1818), Mary Shelley, and explore how the City of Discovery continues to shape our imagination at a time of substantial cultural and civic redevelopment. (In partnership with The Centre for Scottish Culture, Scottish Centre for Comics Studies, Dundee Comics Creative Space, DeeCAP, Literary Dundee, The McManus, Dundee Science Centre, The Little Theatre, and Braes).
