Professor Inke Näthke, Associate Dean of People, Culture & Performance in the School of Life Sciences and Research Integrity Lead at the University of Dundee, provided an overview of what research integrity entails, how and why it can go wrong, what the consequences are, and how it is linked to research culture. She described approaches that can be taken to ensure awareness of good research practise and use practical examples to illustrate how issues raised about potential breaches of research integrity are responded to.
