COP 27 and the Just Transitions Sessions

On 6-18 November, the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27) will meet in Sharm el-Sheikh Climate Change Conference - November 2022 | UNFCCC to build on efforts to reduce carbon emissions and progress on the just transition to net-zero economies. What is at stake in COP 27? What are the debates and challenges on the just transitions in global and regional agendas?
The twin objectives of these sessions are to introduce students to the issues discussed in COP 27 and to create a space to discuss on the challenges for the just transitions and implications for our research agendas.
