Description
A unique lecture series from 14 academic expertise centers in forensic science and educationCrossing Borders
Due to the Corona pandemic academic research and education in forensic science is severely challenged across the globe. Scientific meetings are postponed or cancelled and the options for our students to study abroad are minimized. However, the outbreak has also made us aware of the opportunities of on-line teaching, knowledge sharing and international collaboration. In this on-line lecture series 14 academic centers in forensic science and education join forces to offer a unique insight in the latest scientific and technological developments in the field. Young, talented scientists from each institute will present their work to forensic science students across the globe. Furthermore, in each session one of the 14 institutes will shed a light on their organization, associated research and education programs and their ‘secrets for forensic success’.
These are the 14 participating forensic academic institutions:
University of Technology Sydney
Amsterdam Center for Forensic science and Medicine
Penn State
Center for Statistics and Applications for Forensic Evidence
