Description

'Additional Medical ACT' is funding provided by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the Scottish Government to support the education of medical students in NHS Scotland. Dr McMillan, along with support from Drs Scanlan & Smith submitted an application of 15K to ACT to support a part-time PhD. This application was successful and approved by the local board. Dr McMillan will commence his PhD in May 2025 and will be co-supervised by Drs Scanlan & Smith for the duration of his studies.
