Description
In 2011, the Infection Prevention Society, in partnership with all four UK countries developed and produced a new outcome competency framework for practitioners working in the field of infection prevention and control (IPS 2011). Aligning with current UK career and workforce development, the framework is designed to be a multi-purpose tool to support and inform service and strategic planning, workforce development and management at both operational and strategic levels.Period | 2011 |
