Ding Summer Gathering

Description

In the year that has seen data manipulation on a global scale, rapid advances in domestic AI and the introduction of the world’s most developed privacy and security laws, we want to gather again to help unpick what this all means.

Together with an interdisciplinary group of thought leaders, we want to speculate on the futures we want. The purpose of inviting you to this gathering is to collectively shine light on what preferable futures we could explore and how we might work together. Together we want to come up with new narratives that we will use as starting points and inspiration for new commissions, writing and action.

The event is organized by the Open IoT Studio and the Mozilla Foundation and will take place in the Mozilla office in Berlin. We will host a workshop on Friday, July 13 and invite you to join us on a sundowner boat trip on the river Spree. Saturday, July 14 is an optional meeting to reflect and plan next steps.
