This record documents the 2026 episodes of the ENERGY: A Philosophy of Practice podcast series, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). The series continues to investigate energy as a philosophical, cultural and ecological concept that extends beyond conventional understandings centred on fuel, technology and consumption. Through conversations with leading international scholars, the 2026 episodes explore themes of water, climate change, memory, spectrality, ecology, decolonial thought and more-than-human relations. Together, these discussions examine how energy shapes connections between human and non-human worlds, informing philosophical inquiry, environmental thinking, artistic practice and political engagement.

With Astrida Neimanis: On Water and Weathering, May 2026. The episode explores how water can refigure relationships with the more-than-human world and considers communal and pedagogical approaches to weathering climate crises together.

With Shajara Néehilan Bensusan: On Memory Assemblages, June 2026. The episode examines memory assemblages, ecological and technological worlds, and their implications for political engagement and artistic practice.
