Description

As part of University of Dundee's Entrepreneurship Week 2025, I was invited to deliver a knowledge exchange session entitled "From Ideas to Impact: Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs". The primary audience consisted of members of the Entrepreneurs in Residence Network from across Scotland (www.connect-ed.network).

Event Description

Design practice has spread its domain of activities into wider fields, where the value of the process is equally important to stimulating the innovation of new products and services. This 2-hour workshop (lunch provided) will provide you with a hands-on introduction to Design Thinking as an approach for creative problem-solving. You will gain some insights into how Design Thinking is being used by designers and non-design professionals to drive forward ingenuity and innovation in business practices. You will leave the workshop with an introduction to Design Thinking and an appreciation of design led methods to help rethink and reframe problems when supporting early-stage entrepreneurs with their early-stage business ventures.
