A public panel discussion hosted as part of the Festival of the Future at the University of Dundee.
his discussion will cover the fact and fiction of forensic science and the challenges in the current relationships with science and the justice system. What science can we trust?
Our panel will focus on the importance of representing science fairly in public media such as crime novels and look at some of the tough questions the field faces. They will also highlight how the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science at the University of Dundee is challenging the status quo and inviting everyone to contribute to better knowledge to support the justice system.
A book signing with Val McDermid will follow this event.
