Festival of the Future 2019 - The Evidence Chamber

Activity: Other activity typesPublic engagement and outreach - festival/exhibition

Description

The Evidence Chamber is a live theatre with audience participation drawing on a jury format.

A murder has been committed. There’s a suspect but the evidence doesn’t paint a clear picture. How will you, the jury, reach a decision? The Evidence Chamber is live theatre with audience participation at its heart drawing on a jury format. It asks how we respond to different types of evidence, its presentation and how our preconceptions can affect decisions.

How will you vote? If you’re a fan of The Good Wife, Law and Order or Line of Duty, or you’re just quite interested in solving puzzles, this event is for you.

A collaboration between the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science at the University and ex-theatre company fanSHEN.
