Description
Professor Niamh Nic Daeid, Director of the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science prsented the orgins of forensic science and the new approaches we are taing in Dundee to address current and future challenges in the field. Much of the forensic science that is carried out today is strongly linked to scientific investigation carried out in the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries but bew technology offers new possibilities. How can it be harnessed in this system which is rooted in tradition in a way that is also acceptable and understood by the people the justice system serves?Period | 13 Oct 2022 |
