This is the latest in a series of films in which museum curator Matthew Jarron tells the stories behind some of our most interesting objects and artworks. In this video we look at the development of D'Arcy Thompson's Zoology Museum at University College Dundee and the various institutions and individuals from whom he acquired his specimens, such as Edward Gerrard, William Cross, Vaclav Fric and Eliza Jelly. The film features images from the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum and images from the University of Dundee Archives and private collections.
