Description
In a workshop called 'The History Detectives' Annie Tindley, Lecturer in History, along with staff from the University of Dundee Archives visited St Fergus Primary School. They took the pupils back in time two hundred years to discover what being a child in Dundee was like then. They looked at original documents to uncover the life of children working in the jute mills - how many hours they worked, what dangers they faced, what schooling they received and the accidents that happened.
