Description
Spring and early summer are a great time to see the birds in the botanic garden. However, they are also wonderful ways to engage and help support wildlife in the winter months which you can try at home. One way to encourage them to return is to hang a tasty fat cake from a tree in sight line of your kitchen window. We are also creating local opportunities for those of you without a garden to make them at home and then hang these in a tree at the University of Dundee Botanic Garden as we decorate a community tree, one fat cake at a time. There is an Instruction Sheet on how to make the Fat Cake that will be emailed to you after booking and we encourage you to have a go at making one before the event.
