Description
Curated colloquium including a drawing workshop with Alastair MacLennan, a new video/sound performance work by Roddy Hunter and presentations by Tania Kovats and Sandra Johnston. The colloquium accompanied the online exhibition LIM(I)NAL which evolved over two months presenting MacLennan's drawing-as-performance works alongside drawings submitted by others in response to the artist's scores. The exhibition and the event explored liveness and at time pf physical isolation during the COVID-19 lockdown and led to a published book chapter in 2021 by Bodor entitled: Presence at a Distance. Alastair MacLennan and Performing Drawing during Lockdown, published in a Routledge compilation edited by Lucy Weir and Laura Bissell.Period | 26 Nov 2020 |
