This panel will bring together academics, civil servants and civil society to discuss the wide range of international law and human rights issues related to continued detention operations in Guantánamo Bay. Scotland's increasingly strong voice in the promotion of human rights and the rule of law has the potential to set a strategic platform to guard against further regression in international legal protections.
