I have helped to set up and lead a regular (monthly) online scientific discussion forum led by EMBL that has brought together a community of several thousand scientists, teachers, engineers, lawyers, administrators and journalists. This was launched at the start of the Covid pandemic in 2020 and has continued throughout 2021. Plans are in progress to expand this to include a YouTube channel where I will conduct interviews with scientists and host other events for public access to advance science communication with a broad general audience at an international level.
