Leadership Foundation for Higher Education: Management Development Resources Event

The Leadership Foundation (LF) has created a set of Management Development Resources (MDRs) which it is making available to LF members as part of their membership subscription for 2011-12. The materials consist of modules on the following topics:

• MDR1: Managing effective performance
• MDR2: Managing change in higher education
• MDR3: Emotional Intelligence, personal impact and personal effectiveness
• MDR4: Lean management: doing more with less
• MDR5: The current higher education context
• MDR6: Commercial skills for academics and researchers (available 2012)

At the end of this document you will be able to see more detail about each module.

We are running a series of two-day ‘handover’ workshops for staff developers where you will have an opportunity to use the resources. You have signed up for one of these two day programmes and this document sets out some of the detail of the programme for the two days.
