At the 8th Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science Annual Lecture, Scottish crime writer Val McDermid joined us to discuss the challenges of forensic science in crime investigations.

The event was hosted in-person and virtually via Teams. The lecture was opened by Lisanne Gibson, Vice Principal for Research at the University of Dundee. The event was chaired by Professor Niamh Nic Daeid, Director of the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science at the University of Dundee.
