Chair of the Session "Women’s Film and Video work, Women performance artists"Co-Chairs: Mary Paterson (writer/curator, Borough Road Gallery) and Laura Leuzzi (RewindItalia and EWVA, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design)This session will explore: How did women artists show, distribute and promote their video and performance artworks in the 70s, in the 80sand in the 90s in Europe? How can performance art be remembered, reproduced, archived and communicated in feminist ways? How did feminist collectives support women artists' in that period? How can we uncover and narrate the fundamental contribution of women artists to early video art practice and performance art in the present?
