DJCAD School Research Ethics Committee (SREC) are holding online training sessions for all academic staff. This training is a mandatory requirement for staff to complete prior to September 2025 set by the University which the SREC must offer annually.

Staff are only required to attend once, although you can attend annually as a refresher if desired.

The training session covers the University’s procedures for Non-clinical research ethics application process, documentation and guidance materials. Advice relative to The Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme will also be given. The PVG scheme is managed by Disclosure Scotland and helps ensure people working with children and protected adults are suitable to do so.

You will be invited to 3 separate sessions but you only need attend one. Should these day/ times be unsuitable, please contact [email protected] stating your preferred day/ time and another session can be offered.
