Description

This workshop introduced learners to my practice, using drawing as a tool for communication, storytelling, and creative exploration. Participants investigated how simple figurative drawings can represent everyday activities before developing a series of expressive character studies. Through sequential drawing exercises, learners explored the principles of animation, considering how movement can be conveyed through successive images. The activities encouraged experimentation with concepts of speed, gesture, and narrative, while also prompting reflection on the relationship between real and imagined environments.

The session demonstrated high levels of engagement, creativity, and concentration across the cohort, highlighting the effectiveness of drawing and animation-based approaches in fostering visual literacy, observational skills, and imaginative thinking.
