This course was aimed at providing delegates with a concise but comprehensive introduction to mining agreements. Delegates were introduced to the various foundational aspects and terminology used in the administration of mining agreements. After attending this workshop, delegates gained the necessary knowledge to recognise different forms of mining agreements, understand commonly used clauses, understand requirements for ‘good’ mining agreements, and the challenges particular to mining agreements.
