    The focus of the conference was on legal aspects related to the mining industry and consisted of two days of presentations and panel discussions on a variety of issues related to developments in mining legislation, regulations and codes. The sessions further addressed a variety of contemporary matters of concern to legal practitioners in the mining sector, including alternative dispute resolution, environmental liability, and project finance.
