    Description

In June 2017, we were awarded a Rockefeller Residency grant [1]. The application process with Mozilla involved a written application and several interviews. Once awarded we were funded to convene world experts to address the societal challenges faced by the emerging voice-enabled internet. Participants included Kate Crawford (Microsoft Research and NYU's AI Now institute), Ronaldo Lemos (Rio de Janeiro State University), Gillian Crampton-Smith (independent academic), David Li (Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab) and Babitha George (Quicksand India).
