National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement Leadership in Action: Online seminar series

Our launch session was hosted by Heather Doran and Niamh Nic Daeid, from the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science at the University of Dundee.

Heather and Niamh told the story of the centre and its distinctive ambition to embed public engagement in their practice and philosophy from the outset. They shared their journey and the issues they have had to tackle to embed their distinctive ethos and ways of working - within the university and with their many partners.

Participants also engaged in a more informal conversation with Heather and Niamh, a chance to go ‘behind the scenes’ and reflect on the challenges and benefits of their approach.
