Operation Raptor Rescue - Maths Week 2025

Description

A one-day activity led by LRCFS and the Botanic Gardens, where S1-S2 pupils engaged with researchers from Maths, LRCFS, Life Sciences and The Hutton Institute to solve a wildlife crime. This was related to the theme of 'WILD MATHS'

In total, 198 pupils came in class groups for 2 hours each from Greenfield Academy, Arbroath High, and Morgan Academy.

17 researchers were involved on the day.

The RSPB and 5 additional individuals from across the University of Dundee were involved in the creation of the activities.

The activity was funded by Maths Week Scotland.
