Description
Art Therapy groups for parents and infants at risk of attachment difficulties are being delivered using the Art at the Start model in a partnership between Dundee Contemporary Arts and NHS Tayside infant mental health team. University of Dundee are collaborators and support with design and evaluation.Groups run in blocks of 10-12 weeks held in the DCA with referrals from health visitors and family nurses. DCA have Creative Scotland funding for the Art therapist's role based in the gallery, and an IMH team clinical psychologist co-facilitates the group and the team leader offers clinical supervision.
