    Description

    This symposium was organised by Dr. Nick Fyfe, Department of Geography, Dr. Martin Elvins, Department of Politics, and Dr. Anja Johansen from the Department of History. The event brought together leading policing practitioners, policymakers and academics for an event that covers the range from local policing and community safety to hi-tech crime and international terrorism. Speakers at the symposium included Tayside Police Chief Constable John Vine, Professor Paul Wilkinson of the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St Andrews, and Graeme Pearson, director of teh Scottish Drug Enforcement Agency.
