    Description

Lauren participated in this project in her role as Development Officer for Sciences 3-18 at Education Scotland, working with teachers from primary schools and the associated secondary school in one local authority cluster to support development of rich tasks to embed progression of science learning, including skills and careers, across the cluster. The project began with eight teachers and one Head Teacher, along with the local authority Quality Improvement Officer, before extending to include eight further teachers, mentored and supported by the original participants. The teachers then led professional learning for their colleagues across the cluster schools, at the Scottish Learning Festival and through a series of local continuing professional development sessions for teachers in Tayside and Fife. Materials developed were published by Education Scotland.
