Research Network Meeting #2: Curating The Digital Attic Archive: A Case Study For Open-Source Approaches To Artists’ Archive.Following our first network gathering in Scotland, the second international research meeting of the two-year Royal Society of Edinburgh-funded Research Network Project Curating The Digital Attic Archive: A Case Study For Open-Source Approaches To Artists’ Archive happened on 24-25 October 2024. Hosted at project partner Artpool Art Research Center, Budapest the meeting was co-organised by Bodor (PI) and Hunrat (Co-I) with participants from Hungary, Scotland and Ireland. The Programme of the two days has been developed in consultation with the artist Haha (an acronymic collective identy used by the artist since 2020 based on 4 previous identities).
The 2-day meeting comprised archival fieldwork for partners from Scotland, Ireland and Hungary, a research exhibition curated by Bodor with archivist Dora Halasi (Output) and an internationally networked hybrid workshop (Activity) with expert contributions from Denmark, France, Germany, and The Netherlands.
