Dr Emma Comrie, Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science
Do you like or hate making decisions? My research is all about helping people make decisions. I am applying my research to the field of forensic science where the police, forensic scientists, lawyers, judges and the jury all make judgements on how scientific evidence is processed and valued. In this talk, I will discuss some decision problems and tools to help the decision makers.

A series of FREE talks for schools across Scotland.
The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) is pleased to launch the 2019/20

are FREE to schools and available at any point during the school year.

All our talks are presented by experts, keen to enthuse and excite students from school years P6 to S6, on a wide range of subjects from forensic science, astronomy and physics to literature, culture and the arts.
