Description
Aim of the event:To bring practitioners from health and third sector together to celebrate the launch of the second edition ‘Smile4life: co-designed educational and training resource’. Developed in collaboration with a wide variety of organisations and people with lived experience of homelessness during 2021/2022.
Learning outcomes:
1. Increase knowledge of the strategic direction of the Smile4life programme.
2. Describe the research process adopted to co-design the second Smile4life guide in providing tailored and meaningful oral health conversation with clients.
3. Appreciate the impact of working with long-term partners and clients on the development of the new Smile4life Guide.
4. Discuss the use of behaviour change strategies embedded in the Guide to build trust with the clients.
5. Participate in the evaluation process of the Smile4life intervention.
