Invited speaker, International Conference on Midwifery and Nursing in Guangdong province, China

This invitation came about because of my work in the Quality Maternal and Newborn Care (QMNC) Research Alliance (www.qmnc.org), and the work I have been co-ordinating in developing the QMNC Framework as a data collection tool – both qualitative and quantitative. My presentation has led to the development of a Chinese arm of the research programme.

This was the inaugural conference and was open to nurses and midwives in Guangdong province.
