Among the specimens on show is the King Penguin presented by Ernest Shackleton after one of D'Arcy's former students, Alister Forbes Mackay, accompanied Shackleton on his Nimrod expedition. There are also specimens of various extinct animals, including an ichthyosaur fossil and a thylacine skull.
The film was made in October 2020, filmed and edited by Dr Alice Watterson, originally for students on the Scientific Illustration & Visualisation module at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design.
