The Mapstone Lecture is hosted by the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law and celebrates the remarkable legacy of Prof. Elisabeth Maptsone (Dundee's first female professor) and women's achievements more broadly. This year's lecture was presented by the Lord Advocate, Rt Hon Dorothy Bain KC and was entitled 'Giving Voice to the Vulnerable: Achieving Fairness in the Justice System'.
