The aim of this activity was to present the knowledge exchange youth programme to the young participants attending the NGO Action for Children Dundee to build trust with the group and their youth workers.Development: We used an ice breaking activity followed by educational games and the Theatre of the Oppressed methodology to increase understanding on young people’s lives and preferred ways of communicating.
Outcomes: The programme lead alongside another member of the core team had the opportunity to get to know the youth workers and young people that will attend the programme as we spent half a day in this youth organization. A second meeting was planned to continue the trust building process.
