Description

Therapist responsiveness is an ubiquitous phenomenon in psychotherapy, yet, only a few research designs address it fully. The present structured discussion builds on a special section published in Psychotherapy Research in 2024 and addresses design issues for the future of psychotherapy research. Examples of studies are discussed, as well as their limitations and how they can be addressed.
