Description

Professor Tom Loney is an epidemiologist with broad interests and expertise in clinical and population-based research assessing the relationship between lifestyle, occupational, and environmental exposures and various health outcomes. Tom’s current research portfolio includes two large population-based prospective cohort studies: (i) Mutaba’ah Mother and Child Study; and (ii) The UAE Healthy Future Study. Professor Loney visited the School of Health Sciences to discuss collaborations and give the keynote address at the Mother, Infant and Child Research Unit showcase.
