Train the Trainer: Engaging Researcher with Business

Description

This one-day course is aimed at giving staff, researchers and those working at the interface with industry increased confidence and competence to engage with business and share their learning with others. The training will focus around a suite of tools and techniques that can be used to deliver training or assist individuals with business knowledge and engagement for knowledge exchange and training.

All tools and techniques introduced in this workshop will be open source, enabling participants to use these freely in their teaching or training. Participants will gain an understanding of what is important to industry and learn to assist others in identifying opportunities, identify industry partners and actively engage them. At the end of the workshop a slide deck and teaching tools will be shared enabling participants to share their learning with others.
