Description

Prof Sandra Wilson is a jeweller and goldsmith at the University of Dundee.

She has been learning about turning e-waste into art as an artist-in-residence at the University of Edinburgh’s chemistry lab.

Using a method called hydrometallurgy, the team are using water-based acid solutions to salvage e-waste’s precious metals for art.
