Description

An Exhibition at the National Gallery of Art, Vilnius, the branch of the Lithuanian Art Museum, at the travelling exhibition presented by Goethe Institut “Typemotion: Type as Image in Motion”, curated by Bernd Scheffer, Christine Stenzer and Soenke Zehle. The first venue of the “Typemotion“ exhibition was held at ZKM | Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe/Germany in November 2013. The exhibition was made possible by the Goethe-Institute in association with ZKM/FACT. Works included by Stephen Partridge are: Sentences, 1988-1993, various lengths The Sounds of These Words, 1989, 4 minutes. Commissioned by Channel 4 Television. Broadcast March 1990 as part of the artists' television series "Television Interventions", produced by Fields and Frames Productions Ltd.
